Golden raspberry fruit tart that’s a 1024 bytes of taste, reminiscent of the days when pixels ruled the screen and floppy disks held secrets. Floppy disks were our data companions. Collaborating with a dedicated farmer, we’ve brought the essence of golden raspberries to life, a tribute to eras gone by. This is over 4 years in the making. Crafted with precision by our brew artisans, the recipe intertwines nostalgia and innovation.

Golden raspberry sounds interesting but their sweet tartness lacks flavor intensity. I was surprised to see them incorporated into a beer. Hazy amber with short lived white head. Aroma: a fair amount of funk, lemon, apple & ripe fruit. Surprisingly tart & salty. Flavors: crab apple, lemon, malted grain, straw, some golden raspberry & not as much funk as its aroma implied. Excellent carbonation & no sign of its 10%. Overall: great thirst quencher, especially if you like tart apples.

Picked this up from the Total Wine in Totowa a few months back, as I never had anything from Urban Aritifact before. Can't say that I've reviewed a Fruit and Field beer that was this potent but somehow, this worked! Indeed, it is intense and boozy but the craftsmanship showed as this was an excellent take on the style that was unlike anything that I've ever had before!

Deep gold in hue and topped off with a moderate amount of foam, that quickly settled as the big bubbles burst. No lacing whatsoever was left behind as several big streams of carbonation could be seen early on. Lots of golden raspberry in the nose along with a bit of apple, honey, booze, and malt and the taste also had some fresh-squeezed lemon in it. Nowhere near as tart as I envisioned, the outdoor fruit patch was much more prevalent here as some white grape and bread only added to the rustic nature of this.

Indeed, this was a nice mix of old-school farmhouse funk and a modern style with the end result being something fun, but heavy-handed and a bit syrupy since the carbonation could have been a touch higher. Canned on 10/4 of last year, it would have been great to get a fresher iteration of this but as it was, a smile was on my face before finishing this off. Glad I found this and if you're into the style, you will be too if you come across it!

I got 2 Urban Artifact beers in my latest Tavour box, snd I wad quite impressed with the other one so I have high hopes for this one. You don’t really see golden raspberry utilized in beer so I’m excited to try thisbone. Let’s dive right in

Pours a cloudy deep gold with a finger of soapy off white head that quickly fades to a thin ring and leaves minimal lacing

The nose is very fruit forward, but there’s a nice gentle funk to it as well. I’m picking up on aromas of jammy raspberry, lemon juice, apple skin, straw, crackery malt, wet hay, and light vanilla

It’s very sharp and fruity in taste, not much complexity to it but it’s still so good. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting tart raspberry, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, crackery malt, white grape, and light honey. The swallow brings notes of jammy raspberry, bready malt, lemon zest, saeet honey, apple skin, light vanilla, and white grape

A medium body pairs with gentle carbonation, resulting in a sharp beer. Finishes mostly dry and tart

This isn’t the best of the bunch but it’s still pretty damn good for what it is

12 oz'er poured into my Duvel tulip. Pours clear gold, good finger of bubbly foam head that fades rapidly. The smell is that of fruit and yellow berries, so it sure is what it says it is. Tinge of sour. It's raspberry for sure. Touch of malt. And the taste is about the same, suitably sour. Mid-body, coats the back of your tongue. Good stuff.

12 ounce can, canned on 09/12/23. Served in an Urban Artifact chalice, the beer pours a mostly clear gold color with not quite an inch off-white head that didn't stick around too long. Small amount of lacing. I like the aroma, it smells mostly like golden raspberries along with some bready malt. Taste is similar to the aroma, it tastes mostly like golden raspberries, with some bready malt and a hint of tart citrus noticeable too. Both the sweet and tart flavors are well balanced here. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's a bit coating with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was pretty tasty, definitely worth buying if you come across some!
