This combination of black currants, almonds, orange, vanilla beans, and lactose is bursting with real fruit color, flavor, and aromas! Our amazing Midwest Fruit Tart lets you practically tastes the sticky spongecake right out of the glass. Perfect with a bite of creamy milk or white chocolate on the side.

16 ounce can, no canning date I noticed but pretty sure this was canned over the last week or 2 as it's one of the Small Batch Society releases for November 2023. Served in a Urban Artifact chalice, the beer pours a dark reddish/purple color with not quite an inch light purple head that stuck around a while. Good amount of lacing. I like the aroma, the brew smells like black currants/dark fruit, vanilla, cream and some oranges. Taste is similar to the aroma, but there's the addition of some almond/nutty flavors. I think the black currant stands out in both the taste and aroma, but the other flavors come out more as the beer warms. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's a bit coating with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was a good overall brew, recommended especially if you like black currants!
