Gadget and gin is a classic combination that we've brewed many times over the years, and a version of it has even found itself a spot on our taproom's cocktail menu! Gadget pairs brilliantly with a floral gin and we think we've mastered that complex combination of herbs & spices in this botanical batch.

16 ounce can, canned on 08/20/24. Served in an Urban Artifact chalice, the beer pours a reddish/purple color with a couple inch light pink head that stayed around for a while. There's also a lot of lacing. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like raspberries, blackberries, cinnamon, lime, floralness, black peppercorns and some anise. Taste is similar to the aroma, but with the addition of some vanilla, jammy dark fruit and cardamom. Nice and tart! I think the fruitiness stands out compared to the other flavors. As with the aroma, there's a lot going on with this brew. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's creamy and a bit coating with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was a unique variant of The Gadget. Definitely worth trying if you get the chance!
