a dark pour you'd desire from a porter
aroma is appealing with hints of chocolate and ever so slight vanilla
While the texture is smooth, the vanilla is not present. Bit bitter up front and then ends with a desirable cocoa flavor
A good porter but not elite. Very favorable overall to the palate and was worth trying

Pours a dark color with a generous head and tan lacing
Aroma has coffee, vanilla and malt hints
The taste follows the nose with a generous and silky smooth coffee, vanilla and malt flavor
A medium bodied decently carbonated beer
A good Imperial Porter

There is no visible date on the bottom of the can or the paper label.
Appearance: It has a black body and a short khaki head.. It has decent retention.
Aroma; There is a light aroma of vanilla and cocoa.
Taste: Up front there is vanilla and cocoa. Towards the middle there is a bit of burnt wood.
Mouthfeel: It feels a bit gritty on the teeth. The body is medium and it has a moderately strong bitterness from the grains.
Overall; It is a pretty good Porter but it could use a bit of work on the body. The flavors are alright but nothing stands out. The oatmeal character takes a back seat to everything else. Overall the flavors are enough to carry the beer and it is worth at least trying once.

Very good porter/stout.
The description for this beer is incorrect, it is not 8.20% ABV but instead it is 6.9% ABV which in my opinion works better in this style.
This beer pours very dark, with a small dark caramel head. Smell of sweet vanilla, dark coffee, and hints of chocolate. Taste wise it is on the sweeter side of scale but not too sweet, malt is certainly the backbone of this beer but it still manages to have a crisp hoppy aftertaste.
The texture of this beer is perhaps what stands out the most, the mouth feel and pour are almost as smooth as a nitrous beer. There is little carbonation, but enough to make the vanilla and coffee flavors standout.

Poured a black body with minimal head and had a slight vanilla aspect to an otherwise bland and plain roasted malt aroma. Unfortunately the roasted malts are too harsh and overpower anything else, including the vanilla beans and oats and it's basically a bland, plain stout.
