Appearance: black in color with a short head.
Smell: malt sweetness and some chocolate were detectable.
Taste: roasted malts, chicory, dark chocolate, a hint of coffee, and a mild bitterness makes up a well balanced beer.
Mouthfeel: medium bodied. Lightly crisp to start, smoother at the finish,
Overall: in my opinion one of the better Demented beers as the chicory takes a stout to the next level.
