Listed as Dragon’s Breath Bitter and served on cask… Murky dark brown, nearly black, foamy nitro head.
The taste is predominantly oak.. sweet, liquoreuse. Subtle spice. Behind is an otherwise muted, but not unpleasant flavour.

Cask Conditioned: pours a rich creamy head with good lacing over a reddish body. Aroma - bready sweetness, slightly yeasty. Flavour more fruity sweetness with good clean bitterness.

A: Served a dark amber color with a creamy head that faded very slowly to good lacing.

S: Malt & coffee aroma with fresh grain & fruit mixed in.

T: Slightly sweet with roasted malt and a clean finish.

F: Medium body, creamy smooth, well balanced. The 6% ABV is well hidden.

D: Great cask ale, very satisfying.

Poured on-cask at the KBP.

Medium amber, with a nitro-tap settling effect. Creamy head, thick sheets of lacing. Looks pretty good.

Nose is...strange. Slightly malty and with a bit of sourness, but undercut by this strange, chemical/bacterial odor. Something ain't right in the lines...

Tastes pretty good actually. Malty and with a strong, puckery sour apple flavour. Perhaps some grape or prune as well. A bit of spice to the finish. Not bad actually, if you can get past the smell.

Creamy, oily mouthfeel, but a bit too watery for my liking. Typical caskpump carbonation.

Worth a try, but to get a real following it needs work. Still, for a homebrew it ain't bad.

Cask- Deep hazy amber/brown with a creamy head with good longevity. No real lace though. The aromas aren't really all that in your face, but they show muted malts, leafy greens, with fruit and a sort of dank room quality. The taste brings forth earthy, faint caramel malts with some bread crust and lends to almost sour apples and iced tea. Creamy, slightly sweet finish. Strange offering really, but enjoyable enough that I had a full pint.

Hand-pumped pint from a cask at KBC. Creamy, off-white head, with ochre body. Aromas are roasted malt, orange peel, coffee, and burnt sugar. Floral bouquet. Medium body, with low carbonation. Taste was prunes and other dark fruits, roasted malt, with an acetic finish. Very drinkable. Overall not worth the walk but a fine brew nonetheless.

I like this Ale a few small quirks but Cask conditioned around these parts that seems to be a rarity. It is a great beer to just sit out in one of the pubs outdoor areas and enjoy.

Appearance- A red brown copperish body with an amber base.

Smell- I could not really get a good sniff of anything. I could just get little wiffs of sweetness and this may sound strange but it kind of smelt like soap.

Taste- Very sweet and malty. There are some little tastes of raisins and a little medicine like aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. It is very silky to the point that it is almost oily.

Drinkability- It has a bit of carbonation but it is sooth carbonation not fizzy soda like carbonation.

Clear copper colour with moderate head and lace.

Had a soapy, chemical smell which was not too appetizing.

Fruity, slightly sour to taste, came across as odd somehow. Slightly puckering finish. Thin-bodied overall.

Looks like my glass was not as tasty as some of the others ...

They call it an ESB . A nice brownish tinge with a head and a process of lace, however near watery with mellow bitterness and metallic taste, and significant malt in the finish. Its drinkable, but for hops and bitterness, try the pale on tap. 6% alcohol not detectable, even after a wholesome amount.

An amber brew with a big frothy cask head that stands a height of an inch until the brew is finished. Malty aroma with bits of fruit and some floral hops hit the nose. Absolutely crystal clear even though it is unfiltered.

It is extremely smooth and rich, silky. Sweet malts lead the way, accompanied by some darker and roasty malts. Hops are a bit grassy and balance very well. This is a wonderful cask ale, and I will venture back to get some more.

I did not find this member of the Dragon Breath family as good as the Pale Ale. The colour of this brew was a deep amber and the crown was limited. The body was full and the aroma a little yeasty. Definetly a malt beverage, lots of sweetness to go around...
