Clear, golden color with a big, white head. Citrus, malt, and resin in the aroma. Hoppy taste with strong bitterness. Malty backbone. A very good pale ale.

Light gold with white head. Aroma is pine with hints of citrus. Taste is all pine and the beer is very dry. Body is pretty light. This one doesn't work for me.

Clear, golden body; nice carbonation; thick, frothy and creamy head, sculpted and sticky; pretty stacked rings of foam encircle the glass. Very nice floral hop aroma riding atop a moderate malt base. Fantastic balanced pale ale flavor; light malt, light fruitiness, moderate hop bitterness. Medium body; soft with a nice velvety residual sugar feel; semi-dry with a nice, easy sweetness to counterpoint things.
This is a very nice pale ale. It delivers lots of balance and complexity, subtle and nuanced.
Pouring temperature: 40 °F; canning data: PKG 6/15/22 BEER IS GOOD PPL R CRAZY

Appearance: Pours a mostly clear (90% clarity), deep medium orange color with a moderate white head. SRM of 8.
Aroma: Moderate aromas of earthy catneloupe, stonefruit, mango, tangerine, and apricot. Ripe.
Flavor: Follows the nose with dank flavors. Moderate flavors of earthy stone fruit, canteloupe melon, apricot, peach, tangerine. Some dank pine and sap resin underneath. No bitterness. A slight berry bubblegum flavor that lingers.
Feel: Medium-bodied. Moderate carbonation. A pretty clean mouthfeel as expected for 5.5%, but leaves a slight berry bubblegum note off that lingers.(4.00)
Compared to BlackStack Pull Tabs 7/3/22: Pours a darker, clearer color. Milder aromas. More earthy and dank stonefruit. Less tropical mango, tangerine, melon.
Overall: A good darker American pale ale here. Nice earthy flavors. Resinous, but dank isn't really the word I would use. Earthy stonefruit, melon, berries, but not really herbal. A berry bubblegum lingers on the end. Also has a pine sap flavor without the bitterness. Start in like a dark malty IPA (think of Surly Furious or Bells Two Hearted), but halts and finishes juicy and resinous, yet clean. (Rating: 3.93)

A - Pours out clear a golden orange body, with a short head, white cap persists, with some clotty lacing.
S - Strong nose of juice and tropical fruit, with substantial hoppy resin notes.
T - Follows the nose, with a bright, acidic open of citrus and passionfruit and mango in the middle, leading to a punchily bitter and lingering acidic finish.
M - Brisk carbonation and acidic prickliness, with just enough scrubbing to avoid most of the resin build. Very nice.
O - Quite fine and delicious. I really appreciate the WC notes, and a great flavor.

poured from a 16oz can into a willi becher pint glass. pours a light chestnut with a finger of firm, dirty white foam head. aromas of blueberry and pine along with light citrus. there’s also a lingering malt presence. taste is dominated at first by malt with a blueberry and pine afterthought finish. it has a medium-full mouthfeel with a lower level of carbonation. it’s pretty smooth and almost easy drinking despite the maltiness. the carbonation level and malt presence make it drinks like an English cask ale. it’s a pretty bold departure from Hop Butcher‘s usual fare. it’s not a bad beer and certainly easy drinking.
