Pours opaque, dark brown in color with one quarter inch head. Taste is big milk chocolate, dark chocolate and light pistachio. Medium body, moderate carbonation, slightly sweet. Nice milk stout but I really wanted more pistachio. Not getting nearly enough.

16 fl oz. can, canned on 12/07/2022. MILK WAS A GOOD CHOICE. "Pistachio Milk Stout brewed with chocolate" from Hop Butcher For The World.
Poured to a Camp Crystal Lake stemless wine snifter.
Pours a rich dark chocolatey body with a touch of cream to it: not black or void of light in color: a bit like your coffee after you add some cream. Small finger of creamy chocolate head fades to a ring quick.
Good aromas of creamy chocolate, pistachio cake mix, vanilla bean, perhaps a slight hint of coffee or nuttiness.
Taste follows: creamy & chocolatey with notes of vanilla and pistachio cake mix. Can makes no mention of being brewed with real pistachio, so we can only assume the flavoring is artificial, but it tastes better than other "pistachio" beers I've had in the past. Not always 'natural' tasting, but good depth and duration of flavors, to be sure.
Not overly sweet, sticky, or sugary. Good balance of chocolate / vanilla / pistachio flavoring. Definitely tastes like a chocolate pistachio cake in beer form.
Hop Butcher For The World Milkstachio -----4/5.

Canned December 1 2020.
Pours almost black with a beautiful head of tan foam, long lasting and very good lacing.
The nose is complex. Lactose, cocoa nibs, nutty, roasty.
The taste lives up to the smell and then some. Nutty, cocoa nibs that is basically sweet, lactose.
Smooth as silk mouthfeel.
Excellent despite being 5 months old.

I got a can of this beer from my good friend and old neighbor from the 'Wego. It poured an opaque dark with no head and no lace. The scent had cocoa nib notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with chocolate base and subtle pistachio highlights. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

Poured black, medium mouthful, chocolate- pistachio upfront. I was hoping for more pistachio, but still good.

Full truth here: I dropped the can right before I opened it, and it got shook up badly. It pours black. 4 finger tan head. Head retention is very good. There's some beautiful lacing as the head dissipates.
The nose I get a hint of chocolate, and lactose. The aroma is mild, however.
Taste - Well, I really get a great amount of lactose that hits on the backside. On the front I get the pistachio, and chocolate.
The body is good. The lactose feeling lingers for a while.
Tasty, and a good offering from Hop Butcher.
