This beer, from a tall aluminum can, is a hazy pale orange color with a frothy alabaster head. The aroma is has a notable tropical fruit quality. Juicy but subtle. The taste is balanced, maybe even a little dry, with a continued tropical hop flavor and a solid bitterness. Mild malt in the midtaste. Clean finish. Drinkable and enjoyable...straightforward.

16oz can. Poured out a cloudy, golden orange color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left sudsy lacing. It smelled of orange, grapefruit, guava and caramel. Sweet fruity taste with toasted caramel and a piney bitterness.

Had on tap. Cloud orange pour with white foam. Hops are decently bitter in smell, with melon, grapefruit, pine, pineapple, and some kind of berry. Taste is more muddled and heavy, caramel malts are heavy handed, bitterness is not lost, best part of the taste. Feel is a little heavy for a single ipa, but good hops textures balance well.

Canned 11/16/16; drank 11/20/16 @ the Yarchives.
Cloudy orange appearance.
A rough pour yielded a nice, bubbly bright white head; frothy lace.
Dry pine, caramel & faint pickle juice notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Pickle juice & dry pine flavors up front; faint caramel & orange citrus notes on the finish.
A complete misfire by my beloved brewery; a drain-pour.

16oz can, PKG 4/18/18. Hazed golden-yellow body capped with a thick off-white head. Passion fruit and tropical fruit aroma. Big tropical flavors with passion fruit leading the charge along with notes of pineapple, lemon-lime, lemongrass, and grapefruit. Medium body, lively carbonation, hops stick to the palate with exponential bitterness. A solid and refreshing IPA with some good hop flavors. I look forward to drinking the rest of these this summer.

Definitely drinkable at 6.5% but this is extremely hoppy for a single IPA! Lives up to its name for sure. Malt profile seems very subdued, allowing the hops to be showcased strongly.
