Copenhagen 11/7 2022. 47,3 cl can from Mikkeller web-shop. Sold under the “Save the Beer” campaign so a bit over the “best before date”. Dark purple can with a black 8-Ball surrounded by white etchings.
Pours opaque hazy golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Settles as thin flimsy layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, slightly fermented odor of exotic fruits mingling with sharp citrus fruit. Mango and ripe peach. Grapefruit and searing lemon.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a notable sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
Hole in one.

16 ounce can into a tulip snifter. Canned 5/16/23, had 6/6/23.
Pours a hazy, lighter orange yellow, with a two inch head of creamy foam with good retention and a decent amount of foamy lacing. Aromas of orange, pineapple, light grapefruit, malt, a little papaya, a hint of vanilla. Fairly similar flavors: orange, pineapple, malt, some papaya, light grapefruit mostly on the finish, a light resin hop bitterness. Smooth, a little dry, a good lighter body, well carbonated.
Juicy and fairly refreshing, with lots of tropical citrus. Liked it, there’s just not anything different or outstanding about it.

Milky cloudy with a white-light gold color. Very large head, slow to recede. Good, chunky ring lace.
Clean and fresh smell of floral hop. There's a background earthiness deep in the aroma.
Strong pineapple flavor up front. The hop bitterness is muted. The mouthfeel is rich and enhanced by the fine-bubbled lower level of carbonation. The finish is tropical with more pineapple and a white peppercorn bitterness. Long lingering semisweet aftertaste.

Appearance is practically perfect. Pillowy head with retention for days! Smell is good, and so is flavor, though sweetness could be dialed back quite a bit and bitterness notched up. Very tasty, super enjoyable, except for the almost cloying finish. One of the better NEIPA’s I’ve had in recent years.
