This one was surprisingly smooth. Lots of different flavors going on here with berries, tangerine, and some grapefruit and orange. Nice bit of pine on the finish.

Pours a deep, dark gold with light head that leaves quick but laces well. Smell of dank hops and pithy grapefruit. The taste follows the smell, nice bitterness throughout and a mild grapefruit presence. A very good ipa with ddh that isn't too fruity in the end.

Probably one of, if not my favorite IPAs and other than stout thats all I really drink. This one has a good abv and tastes as good as it smells. If you like fruity IPAs you will not be disappointed.

Canned 9/5 and drank the last of the 4 pack on 10/23, so I'm wondering if it's lost some of its xharacter. It's got some hoppiness but seems more malty. Tangy and bitter. Looks okay, smell is the best part of it, feel is crisp, mouth watering, refreshing. Will have to try it again and rate it fresher.

16oz can, PKG 09/05/18. Can says Double India Pale Ale and 7.5% ABV, so it seems some changes have been made to this beer recently. Looks great! Tall frothy ivory colored head slowly fades atop an opaque pale tangerine colored body. Tropical fruit hop aroma of passion fruit, pineapple, and citrus. Hop forward flavors as expected from this brewery: passion fruit, kumquat, and pineapple come to mind. Fuller body, quite creamy but resinous, finishes tart, pungent, and a bit acidic. This is a very good new school DIPA of the New England variety.

Canned 9/5/18; drank 9/16/18 @ the Yarchives.
Cloudy orange appearance.
A rough pour yielded a big, noisy off-white head; a thick curtain of tree-rung lace.
Wheat, orange peel & baking soda notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Orange peel & baking soda flavors up front; bitter, dry grass & booze heat notes on the finish.
Old model, old fashioned "west coast" IPA unpleasant-ness. Permanent pass.

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a one pint can on September 12, 2018. Brewed with Simcoe, Chinook and Mosaic hops. Nice balance of hop bitterness and malt sweetness.
