Pretty basic pale. The blueberry honey is not detectable in taste, but the feel is sticky and languid. Otherwise pretty basic, some west coast hops, some pale malt, and some sweet bread malts to go with the honey dew and orange. Not bad but nothing memorable, hurts that special ingredient didn't star.

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a one pint can on October 16, 2018. Southern Passion, Southern Star, African Queen and Mosaic hopped International Pale Ale brewed with honey and blueberry. Interesting.

This was an interesting beer. The aroma and the flavor were both a little understated, which is unusual for a Hop Butcher beer. There was some berry up front and then the honey on the back. The honey made for a smooth mouth feel. It had a nice dry finish. It's a good beer, just not really what I was expecting.

Canned 10/2/18; drank 10/11/18 @ the Yarchives.
Cloudy dark orange appearance.
A violent pour yielded a huge off-white head; a thick curtain of tree-rung lace.
Strawberry, honey & mild dry grass notes in the nose.
Medium thick mouthfeel.
Strawberry & tart blueberry flavors up front; dry pine notes on the finish.
An interesting melange here; I'd prefer less pine, but overall enjoyable. I'd have another.

16 ounce can into a tulip glass. Had 4/9/17.
Pours a bright, lighter amber, lightly cloudy, with a two inch foamy head and some foamy lacing. Smells of yeast, light blueberry, a bit of a sweet aroma from the honey. Somewhat of a dank aroma, too. The taste is malt, honey, light blueberry, a decent amount of bitterness throughout. Dank and floral. Smooth, well carbonated, a lighter but sufficient body.
Surprised to see how brief my notes were on this. It’s nice, but the blueberry honey doesn’t stand out. What’s there is good, but there’s no intensity in the flavor and aroma.
