16 ounce can into a tulip snifter. Had 3/29/18.
Pours a bright, hazy apricot, with a one and a half inch head of thick foam, and a fair amount of thick, soapy lacing. Aromas of mango, guava, pineapple, some yeast. Somewhat dank, a light sweet smell. The taste is guava, papaya, some pineapple, light orange, a little lemon on the finish and aftertaste, malt. A hint of a dank flavor, some hop bitterness up front that tails off. Smooth, a solid medium body, well carbonated.
This is a great collaboration. Has a really solid hop blend, and I think the stronger than usual (for Hop Butcher) malt backbone is the key to this one. Just really liked it. Well worth a purchase.

A very interesting brew from a really good Chicago brewer. Nose is strange, not particularly juicy or hoppy, kind of a dull melon. Taste is melon/apricot up front. Tropical notes seep in as it moves across the mouth. Finishes smooth and sweet. Really pleasant aftertaste making you want more. Honestly this almost takes like areally good lager crossed with a New England IPA. I could drink a lot of this.

A-very cloudy yellow orange color with just a thin amount of white lacing around the top
S-aroma of citrus and light fruits
T-taste is heavy on the citrus with ripe fruits and a bitter finish
M-medium body and crisp carbonation
Overall is good, kind of has an odd taste that makes me not the biggest fan

Just opened a super fresh can. My first experience with Hop Butcher, formerly South Loop Brewing. Very impressed! Kind of a darker orange color, completely opaque NEIPA look but great citrus nose and very sophisticated, somewhat bitter finish with great bite! Excellent overall!!

Canned 3/14/18; drank 3/18/18 @ the Yarchives.
Opaque dull orange appearance.
A rough pour yielded a big off-white head; a thick curtain of frothy lace.
Honeydew melon & faint dry grass notes in the nose.
Sticky, medium mouthfeel.
Honeydew melon & dry grass flavors up front; tangy grapefruit notes on the finish.
Flavorful, but the notes clash a bit for me. Can't say I'll track this one down again..

The look on this is very hazy. The smell is tropical melon and citrus. The taste is a little funky but it's growing on me. I can taste the citrus but there is something else that I can't put my finger on. Overall this was a good beer. The hop profile is different than anything I've had before.
