5/13/18: $5.04 + tax 16oz canned 3/7/18 purchased at Beer on the Wall in Park Ridge 4/6. Hazy straw color pour into pint glass, light white head and lacing, Faint citrus sweet aroma. Very firm mouth feel, bitter pleasant taste, citrus offset slight but the hops reign supreme with this offering. Light thin texture, carbonation plentiful, holds after pour, easy drinking. Overall excellent offering.

16 ounce can into a tulip glass. Canned 3/7/18, had 3/13/18.

Pours a bright, lightly hazy yellow, with a one and a half inch foamy head and lots of foamy lacing. Aromas of orange, pineapple, some grapefruit, some yeast, a little dank aroma. The taste is pineapple, some grapefruit and orange, light vanilla, some malt, oak- more as it warms and strong on the finish. A little dank, a good amount of hop bitterness throughout. Smooth, a good light body, a little dry, well carbonated.

The oak chips are really good in the flavor, a very good flavor overall. This was enjoyable, a solid effort.

Canned 3/7. One of my favorite new beers this year. Great smell, great taste, well balanced, lots of flavors. Cloudy gold orange with plentiful particulate population. Hoppy, citrusy, zesty scent, orange notes. Taste is pure juice, citrusy, hoppy, with mild vanilla flavors and a slight bitterness behind the sweetness. Extremely well balanced with a lot of flavors and characteristics- clean, crisp, nice little alcohol burn on the tongue that plays well with the overall juicy feel. I think the oak infusion helps bring the hoppiness down, but I could just be talking out of my ear. Anyway, I hope this one comes around again, and soon.

Another of the charts offering from these guys. Amazing !! This reminds me of trillium brew. But I must say this is better.

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a one pint can on March 8, 2018. Canned on 03/07/18. Hobson oak-infused IPA with vanilla. Brewed with Citra and XPO6297 hops. A collaboration to benefit the Naperville Parks Foundation. Very interesting beer. I'm glad I tried it.
