Canned 12/4/19; drank 12/6/19 @ the Yarchives.
Opaque orange appearance.
A violent pour yielded a nice off-white head; thick, frothy lace.
Tangerine, cream & faint brown sugar notes in the nose.
Medium thick, creamy mouthfeel.
Tangerine & dry wheat flavors up front; a hint of brown sugar on the finish.
An interesting amalgam that grew on me over the course of the quaff.

Poured hazy burnt yellow with a finger of foam. Smell had light flowers, melon, citrus, pine, and heavier handed hops, nice combo. Taste was similar, but with creamy but grainy and light melon, grapefruit, pineapple, guava, and starfruit to go with the bright hops. Highly drinkable and smooth in the frothy and creamy body. Just an all around good neipa

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a one pint can on December 21, 2018. New England style India Pale Ale brewed with Galaxy and Chinook hops. Notes of citrus fruit. Soft feel.

Got this at the same time Double Blazed Orange came out and that beer of course got all the hype. This guy caught my attention though in part b/c it’s a collaboration with Bottle Logic. Their stouts are world class, but I’ve never had an IPA, so figure this could be great.
The color is nice. A bit darker than orange juice and hazy like a good NEIPA. The smell is a bit less citrusy than some other NEIPAs, but that’s just a function of the particular hops being used I think. The taste is very nice. Not a super sweet as some bad NEIPAs or bad milkshake IPAs. The touch of bitterness is welcomed. I love the super soft mouthfeel. I don’t taste the 7% abv anywhere either. Will look for this one again!
