16 ounce can into a tulip snifter. Canned 5/7/19, had 5/12/19.
Pours a hazy pinkish purple, with a one and a half inch foamy head with decent retention and a good amount of foamy lacing. The aroma starts with lots of vanilla, then blackberries, light yeast and malt, graham as it warms. Smells a little grassy. Flavors of vanilla, blackberries, graham, some malt, some apricots, a light sourness. Tastes a little grassy/herbal on the finish. Smooth, a bit creamy, a very good lighter body, well carbonated.
The vanilla is the king of the hill, but the blackberries and graham strongly support it. Love how the aromas and flavors commingle, with a light hop presence as a counterpoint. Really good. Well worth a purchase.

L - trace pink head atop a menacing, opaque maroon body.
S - vanilla, honey, mixed berries.
T - super-sweet vanilla, tart berry. Clean middle. Getting a little graham cracker here but mostly presents as sweet honey. Very low bitterness. Moderate-high sweetness. No booziness.
F - medium-full body with lower carb.
O - very unique!

Opaque dull mauve smoothie with a thin off-white blanket. This is a good, fruity, candy-leaning milkshake IPA, with no off-putting notes that I experienced.

Like all of their Milkshake IPAs, this is really great beer, and strangely it tastes like blackberry pie. The graham cracker smell is like nothing I've had before and is dead-on. Don't know what people are talking about when they say they couldn't have more than one - I could crush this stuff.

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a one pint can on May 8, 2019. Mosaic and Simcoe hopped Milkshake Double India Pale Ale. Notes of blackberries, graham crackers and vanilla. Could not detect the apricot.

Canned 5/7/19; drank 5/12/19 @ the Yarchives.
Opaque purple appearance.
A rough pour yielded a big pink head; frothy, tree-rung lace.
Graham cracker, vanilla & blackberry notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Graham cracker & vanilla flavors up front; mild blackberry & mild tart apricot notes on the finish. Not sure how they nailed the graham cracker flavor, but overall this is unique & enjoyable. I'd have another...

A: Murky cranberry-grape juice, darker purple with some red tones
S: Graham cracker, berry, yogurt, lactose, vanilla, boo berry cereal, marshmallow milk
T: Boo Berry cereal, hint of berry tartness, marshmallow, apricot, citrus rind underneath, sweet vanilla
M: Medium body
O: No semblance of the base IPA. I'm sure the hops help balance out the sweetness or this would be extra nasty. I'll leave these types of beers for the people bound to enjoy them more than me. Still better than the recent Blazed Orange release

Normally I don't like odd beers that are trying too hard to be different, but I'm loving this one. It's pretty ugly. Maybe I am being unfair because of the red color versus a standard orange, but it's barely better looking than their mint Swan beer which was green. The graham crackers and vanilla are just there enough to keep it interesting and unique. There's a bit of tartness from the apricot more than the bitterness from the hops. It's sweet as all their milkshake IPAs are, but not too much for me. Hop Butcher continues to meet all the hype they've been getting and I keep buying their beer every two weeks. Don't pass this up either.
