Tasted in a Kölsch glass from a one pint can on October 1, 2019. Canned September 25, 2019. Brewed with Hersbrucker and Hallertauer hops. Notes of citrus peel, honey and herbs.

Murky golden body with a frothy white bubble collar with lacing. Getting lemon zest, pine, yeast, and dusting solution in the nose. Taste is cleaner, but still very hoppy for style, with herbal and citrus hops, good yeast on the end helps me remember it is a kolsch not a watery ipa. Feel is again too hoppy and soapy, has good yeast, but like the whole beer has good spots but overall just missed the mark

Canned 9/24/19; drank 10/27/19 @ the Yarchives.
See-through orange appearance.
A violent pour yielded a nice off-white head; a thick curtain of tree-rung lace.
Corn, pine, soap & mild citrus notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Corn, soap & bitter pine flavors; I don't think a kolsch should be this abrasive.
A pass for me moving forward.

Had this on tap at Orange and Brew . I'm not a huge fan of the style but I found this one to be more hoppy than most Kolsch beers I've had but then again it is Hop Butcher. I did like the mouthfeel, much more dense than what I'm use to from Kolsch beers.
