Slightly hazy golden color with a very respectable and lasting white head and loads of nice sticky lacing.
The aroma is mild saltine crackers, citrus and black pepper.
The taste is crackers, black pepper, light citrus with light herbal hops and citrus zest supplying a mild bitter note at the finish.
The body is light, excellent carbonation, very smooth and very drinkable.
Altogether, this is a very solid Pilsner, nicely balanced but subtle flavors, very refreshing, should go well with summer/fall activities and most food styles, very nice.

another fun snag from my favorite neighborhood store, always good to get my steps in when it leads to a cold pilsner while some late summer storms roll in.
poured hastily in to a pint glass, this things a mostly clear very pale almost hay-like color, with a huge sudsy pile of foam on top thats left a thick mess of lacing everywhere as its gone down.
aroma is a whole lot of hops at first, with lemon zest, bits of grassiness and a lil fresh cracked pepper leading the pack. there's a solid backing of saltine cracker and white bread holding things down, and a hint of faint herbs coming out from time to time.
flavor follows suit, with whatever hops they used really taking shape from the jump with a nice citrus bite. light bread, cracker and the smallest bit of yeast come into play as well. there's a lingering bitterness on the back end that i quite enjoy.
light/medium bodied and easy as hell to drink, with again a nice bitter note that sticks around and gets washed out by the citrus on the next sip. a great beer for what it is, could be about 2 bucks cheaper a can but i've given up on that these days. i should drink more pilsners again. pretty solid stuff!

5/8/24 - (Draft Hop Butcher For The World Taproom) (Chicago, IL) - $5.51 with tax 16 oz draft pour into a nonic glass. 5.0% ABV Italian Style Pilsner. Refreshing and crisp Italian Pilsners for the win!
Appearance: Crystal clear lightly carbonated golden straw color base, bright white creamy head leaves blizzard like thin lacing over all the glass and a dusting above the base. 4.5
Aroma: Mild plus cracker and pepper, enjoying. 3.5
Taste: Slightly stronger flavor, steady salt cracker pepper. Really hoppy. 3.75
Mouthfeel: Hoppy, slightly dry light plus body. Faint sustained slightly fizzy carbonation. Drinks easier than the ABV, though possibly my perception with two preceding 6-7.5 percent beers. Drinks light and easy, sweet overall, sweet bread finish. 3.75
Overall: This is a straight forward light and easy Italian Pilsner. Hits the expected American take, nice and easy closer for me here. 3.75

16oz can. Poured out a clear, golden yellow color with a small, white head of fluffy foam. It left sudsy lacing on the glass. It smelled of bread crust, grains and caramel. Sweet caramel and bready notes with a mild citrusy bite.

Pilsners get no love. I’m really liking this. It has a full mouthfeel and great dry bite we the end. I’m assuming this is their version of a Peroni? Either way, I’ll get it again.

first beer from this brewery - not really certain what an "Italian pilsener" is supposed to be - pours a somewhat deep gold - not much of a head and very little retention / lacing - hops detectable in aroma, along with some heavy musky notes lurking deep in background - taste features mild hops spiciness along with some mild corn notes - mouthfeel is a bit thin - overall this is not a bad beer, but I'm not really sure what the brewery was aiming at - btw, contrary to an earlier poster, I would put this ahead of Heineken, though at a higher price point

Canned 1/28/20; drank 2/2/20 @ the Yarchives.
See-through yellow appearance.
A violent pour yielded a nice, noisy white head; frothy lace.
Corn, skunky hops & faint fresh flower notes in the nose.
Medium thin mouthfeel.
Corn, skunky hops & faint fresh flower flavors. Just buy a Heineken.
