Canned 2/25/20; drank 3/1/20 @ the Yarchives.
Opaque bright orange appearance; looks like OJ!
A rough pour yielded a nice white head; strong, frothy lace.
Grapefruit, dank ganja & orange peel notes in the nose.
Medium thick mouthfeel.
Grapefruit & dank ganja flavors up front; dry grass & faint booze heat notes on the finish.
Above average dank hops, but not relevatory.

My only negative on Hop Butcher hazy IPAs is that they can all start to taste too similar. This one has some unique flavors though, so that’s welcomed. My buddy and I aren’t tasting the alcohol at all as well. We would have guessed it to be a regular double. Another great offering and worth checking out!

Up front comes a huge wave of agave juice that is followed by the alcohol heat in the chest. The alcohol is very dominant in this one. It's a tasty brew but the alcohol isn't well masked. Perhaps a few days in can might help to mellow out this brew?
