Thank you @swenny916, I appreciate the beer. Never tried anything from this brewery, excited to dig into this beer. The beer has a simple salmon color label. The beer is 45 degrees and served in a tulip glass. The pour of the beer produced a two-fingered foamy creamy head with good retention. The head dissipated fairly quickly but left loads of lacing on the glass. The color of the beer is SRM 4, pale straw with golden hues. This beer is hazy. Overall, this is a beautiful beer.

The initial aromas in the beer are oranges, papaya, guava, pineapple, and lemons. Next, I smell grapefruit rind, biscuit, floral esters, and wet grass. Lastly, I detect a hint of pine, bay leaves, a touch of a dank basement, and earthiness.

The flavors in the beer are pine, pineapple, lemons, oranges, guava, grapefruit, herbal, floral esters, biscuits, lightly toasted bread crust, dank basement, and earthiness.

The mouthfeel of the beer is slightly carbonated, creamy, and coating.

The body of the beer is medium-plus, medium-minus carbonation, and a full finish.

This beer surprised me! It is awesome. The flavor profile is spot on with a NEIPA. I am so glad Jay sent this to me. Excellent beer.

This one was typical Hop Butcher, and that's a good thing. Started off with a nice touch of pine and peach at the front end with citrus, pineapple and grapefruit towards the end. Very juicy and smooth.

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a one pint can on April 3, 2020. Double India Pale Ale brewed with Mosaic and Simcoe hops. Wizzo the Wizard approved.

Canned 3/30/20; drank 4/5/20 @ the Yarchives.

Opaque orange/pink appearance.

A rough pour yielded a big white head; strong, frothy tree-rung lace.

Peach, dry grass & faint grapefruit notes in the nose.

Soft, medium mouthfeel.

Peach, dry grass & mild grapefruit flavors; perhaps a bit tangy for my tastes, but overall a nice take on the NE IPA style.

Aroma is sweet fruit/citrus and floral. The flavor is citrus/fruit, malts/mild bread/yeast, tropical fruit and a long grapefruit hop/slightly warm finish.

16oz can, dated 03.30.2020, poured into a 16oz tumbler glass.

The beer pours a very hazy and turbid orange color, golden hues, looks strikingly like a glass of orange juice with a thin finger of white head that has modest retention but yields excellent swatches of sticky lacing. The aroma is lovely, super juicy and tropical, tons of valencia orange juice, mango and pineapple puree, very floral, a bit of dank weediness but so bright and clean with a touch of sweet yeast and biscuit malt. The flavors are great, so bright and juicy, tons of citrus and tropical fruits, clean and fresh, more of an assertive green hop leaf flavor, more grassy and dank than the nose but with that same vivacious floral character that rests on a nice biscuity grain backbone. The mouthfeel is good, coating and creamy with a heavier medium body, almost chewy with a soft and sweet finish.

Verdict: A great NEIPA from Hop Butcher. So bright and juicy, really fresh and clean flavors without being too boozy or sweet. This is a very dialed in beer, awesome stuff!

Canned 3/30/20 and consumed 4/2/20.

What a great quarantine beer! Thank you Beer Temple Chicago for being open. Fresh Hop Butcher always smell amazing and this sticks to that. The taste follows the smell with citrus up front and a nice hop balance at the end. It has a beautiful color and the mouthfeel is soft and full. Another great new offering worth buying!
