I needed a break for all the NE IPAs I've been drinking and nice Pilsner is just what I needed. Of course being from Hop Butcher this one had a hoppy taste to it but that seemed to work well with this Pilsner. The hops did not overpower the sweet malt and the touch of bitterness at end was a nicely balanced. I liked this one.

Tasted in a Spiegelau pilsner glass from a one pint can on April 14, 2020. Country pilsner brewed with Aramis hops. Looks and smells just like a classic pilsner should. Crisp.

Another pilsner from Hop Butcher. I'm excited to see this style getting popular again. I don't know what a "Country Pilsner" is exactly, but it's a great crushable pils with a nice dry bitter taste to it. I hope they bring it back and keep making new versions of pilsners for us.
