A: The beer is very hazy to cloudy pale dark yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head.that died down, leaving a narrow collar of off white bubbles around the edge and some lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of gooseberries are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell, having flavors of gooseberries along with hints of mangos.
M: It feels medium-bodied and juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I liked the juicy mouthfeel of this NEIPA and all of the aromas and flavors of gooseberries.

The look on this one was bright orange and hazy. The aroma was fruity with noticeable hints of orange and pine. The taste had orange, tangerine, and berries with some pine and earthiness on the back end. Nice and sticky mouthfeel. Solid offering by Hop Butcher.

Canned 5/4/20; drank 5/8/20 @ the Yarchives.

Opaque orange appearance.

A violent pour yielded a huge off-white head; strong, frothy tree-rung lace.

Orange peel, peel, table sugar & dry grass notes in the nose.

Medium thick, sticky mouthfeel.

Orange peel & table sugar flavors up front; mild caramel & faint cream notes on the finish.

Not quite an upper-echelon Hop Butcher effort; a bit too sweet & sticky. Not bad, though.

16oz can, dated 05.04.2020, poured into a stemless wine glass.

The beer pours a very hazy and turbid orange color, amber hues with a thick foamy white head that rises about two fingers high with great retention and excellent lacing. The aroma is incredible, tons of tropical fruit, nice earthy pine, grassy and dank green hop leaf, a bit of spice, light stone fruits, doughy pale grain and sweet yeast. The flavors are good, dank green hops leap out of the glass, less floral than the nose and more piney and sticky with nice hop spice that really highlights the nelson character, juicy orange and pineapple, very tangy and bright with sweet yeast, a bit of booze and a doughy pale malt backbone. The mouthfeel is good, heavier medium body, coating and lively with a warm dry bite at the finish.

Verdict: A very nice NEIPA from Hop Butcher. The Nelson and Mosaic play together very well and the Nelson shines in this beer. Bright, fragrant, juicy, hits the spot.
