This was the best beer I had at Hop Butcher. It was well balanced for a TIPA. Not too sweet but sweet enough to balance the hops. Tropical flavor and not too bitter. Easy drinking with the alcohol fairly well hidden. I can drink a couple of these and forget about driving home.

poured from a 16oz can into a narrow gauge stemless wine glass. pours a hazy golden orange with two fingers of bright white foam head. candied orange, light pine and some peach on the nose and taste. it’s got some alcohol burn and sweetness to it, especially as it warms. the citra and simcoe work wonderfully together. sticky pine and pithy orange for the most part. thick, full mouthfeel. very well done NE TIPA. does get a little sweet but overall very solid.

This is a pretty good one, real strong hop presence, and the Citra and Simcoe characteristics show through well. Cloudy dark orange. Smell is citrusy, dank. Taste is tangy, juicy, citrusy, dank. Big body, mouth watering, well rounded with a strong alcohol presence. Yet another great juice bomb from the Butcher.

16 ounce can into a tulip snifter. Canned 9/15/20, had 9/23/20.
Pours a bright, hazy, yellow orange with a one inch foamy head and a decent amount of foamy lacing. Aromas of orange, grapefruit, some peach, light malt, a little pine. Smells lightly dank. Flavors of orange, peach, some grapefruit, malt, pine on the finish that lingers, a little dank. Has some hop bitterness midway through the finish. Smooth, a solid light to medium body, well carbonated.
Overall, this may not be as dynamic as Green Moss, but this is a solid effort with great aromas and flavors. Has a little beefier feel that works well. An excellent higher ABV hazy.

This is a big triple IPA from Hop Butcher coming in at 10.25% ABV. This beer was more sweet than I was suspecting. It was also sticky and nicely balanced. Some bitterness and a touch of booze at the end help offset the sweetness.

Very good triple IPA. Was getting some vanilla, which was welcome. Sweet and not bitter.
