Chinook, Citra, Mosaic & Strata- hopped India Pale Ale. This isn't new new, but it is new to us and the Chicago market. We brewed this collab with Perennial Artisan Ales last year and on their turf. This year, both breweries brewed a batch, so if you grab some, be sure to raise a cheers to our friends in St. Louis!

Pours a very hazy pineapple color with a fluffy white head that provides splotchy lacing. Beautiful hazy. The nose is DANK, with lots of citrus notes, left by pineapple, passion fruit, grapefruit, and lychee. Did I mention DANK?
The taste is likewise very dank, with the aforementioned pineapple, passion fruit, grapefruit, and lychee notes most prominent, but there’s also a nice bit of strawberry at the back of the palate so the dankness doesn’t become cloying. Delicious stuff.
The mouthfeel is medium and on the softer side, per the hazy style. I’d definitely drink this again.

Collaboration with Perennial Artisan Ales. Chinook, Citra, Mosaic & Strata-Hopped India Pale Ale. Tasting Notes: Juicy Pineapple, Pleasant Dank, Bright Tropical.
Appearance: Poured about half the glass into a tulip glass. Very generous bright white creamy head lingers for several minutes before settling int a bubbly cover over the pineapple juice colored turbid base. Looks great! 4.75
Aroma: Strong sweet fresh tropical blend, pineapple, citrus, enticing. 4.25
Taste: Consistent flavor with the aroma, but with a more balanced dank and bitter balance, Fear of excess sweetness were quelled. 4.0
Mouthfeel: Medium creamy body, gentle carbonation. Dry, sweet overall though hop bitterness balances excess. Drinks light and easy, dank pineapple finish. 4.25
Overall: This is a solid collaboration brewed by Hop Butcher For The World. Not familiar with Perennial's NEIPAs to draw a comparison, but this is consistent with several Hop Butcher offerings. Nice Tropical Flavors, dankness and bitterness balances this out to an enjoyable experienced. Look forward to future offerings from both breweries down the line. 4.25

Light yellow in color with a very hazy complexion. There’s an inch of frothy dishwater white on top. Moderate, soapy lacing is present. The aroma is of lime and cantaloupe hops. I’m tasting cantaloupe and lime hops. The mouth is smooth and refreshing.

16oz can. Poured out a cloudy, golden orange color with a good-sized, white head of foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of pineapple, grapefruit, orange, caramel and toffee. Sweet tropical fruit taste with toasted caramel, sweet toffee and a piney bitterness.

This 1 really threw me off. Every single or double ipas from these guys I've had has had that sweetness to it and this doesn't. Im not disappointed just surprised. I like the dankness to it just wish it had the creamy soft body like so many of their beers.

Hangs with the best NEIPAs from Trillium Bissell Treehouse, with just a touch of sour bittetness in the aftertaste otherwise quite robust with good hop distinction in the nose and pallette. Belches up flavorfully

My good friend and old neighbor from the 'Wego shared a can of this beer with me. It poured a hazy golden with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had dank fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright ripe fruit presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.
