Pours a hazy orange colour, plenty of head.
Smell is pretty standard IPA citrus, tropical, touch resin
Tastevis the same, just a bit too light in flavour overall.
Body is smooth and light, but not thin.

Sweetish hazy double IPA with impressions of left over Doyles pineapple juice out of the can after you take the pineapple out, blueberries and mango. Just a touch catty with a hint of onion....the rest of the flavors overwhelm that though so not an issue for me and I am not fond of the onion characteristics.... Upper side of medium bodied...good hazy look...
I say sweetish but in a good way...not your typical cloying hazy IPA...just more of a nice fresh, sweet juicy tropical hop flavor...
I'd buy this one for sure.

16oz can purchased from the fridge as a single for $5.50. Canned on 08/29/22, so this is 8 weeks and a day old.
Look: Pours a bright, yellowish orange almost opaque color with a thick off-white frothy head. Definitely looks the part of a NEIPA. Lots of chalky hop proteins at the bottom of the can.
Smell: Lots of juicy tropical notes - mango, orange juice, peach, along with some green grassy notes. Oniony notes too.
There's like an interesting sweet bubble gum note on the back end. A bit chalky.
Taste: Interesting. It provides a dichotomy of elements: juicy and green, fruity and vegetal, smooth and sharp. Notes of sweet melon and grapefruit along with a sharp oniony bite. Up front, it's sweet, juicy, and creamy. The finish is significantly bitter with pithy citrus and green grassy notes but the bitterness doesn't linger for too long. A bit of menthol on the finish also. After pouring the bottom of the can and taking small sips of this beer at a time, I can appreciate the flavor a bit more but I'm still finding it hard to actually enjoy it.
Feel: The mouthfeel is soft and creamy, but also a bit chalky and there is some hop burn. Appropriately carbonated.
Overall: This is my first beer from Hop Butcher for the World. This is also my first taste of Nectaron hops. I'm honestly not sure what to make of this beer. It's tasty, but I feel like it is missing something for me personally to be able to fully enjoy this and I'm not really sure what it is. Would I enjoy this more if consumed fresher than 8 weeks old? Do I really not enjoy the style of Double NEIPAs? For me, the best part of this beer is the nose. I gave it a shot, I see tremendous potential for this brewery, and I'll try something else. I am looking forward to the can of Blazed Orange in my fridge, I think that will be more my speed.
Tasting notes from the can:
sweet citrus, ripe blueberry, pink cotton candy

Appearance: Pours a nearly completely hazy (10% clarity) medium to light golden color with a strong white head. SRM of 6. (4.00)
Aroma: Strong juicy and dank aromas of dank tropical melon, berries, with a lingering pine aroma underneath. (4.00)
Flavor: Strong and juiyc flavors of dank tropical notes. Dank melon, blueberries, and a pine note that lingers underneath. Moderately dry with lingering pine. Some mild cotton candy sweetness. (4.25)
Feel: Medium-bodied. moderate carbonation. A slightly bitter dank pine feel lingers. (4.25)
Compared to Humble Forager Misty Mirage 10/7/22: Pours hazier and lighter. Milder aromas. More dank and . Less juicy and tropical notes. Dryer and more bitter.
Compared to Eagle Park Heart it Races 10/7/22: Pours similar, stronger aromas. More dank berries, tangerine, pine. Less juicy peach. Dryer and more bitter.
Compared to Phase 3 Perpetual Sounds 10/2022: Pours lighter, stronger aromas. More tropical blueberries and melon. Less peach and tea. More juicy and sweeter. Winner: Interocean.
Overall: Initially this beer didn't quite hit me. But as it warmed it became more impressive. Dank tropical notes, but the pine evolves into quite a nice signature selection of flavors. Berries, pine, cotton candy. Somewhat dank and has a pine/citrus rind bitterness, yet still extremely clean and drinkable. Amazing for an ordinary NEIPA, but for Hop Butcher this is pretty on par. (Rating: 4.18)

8-28-22 dated tall can…so yeah it’s a freshie
Nice looking fully hazed n juiced look, lasting cap and leaves a full load of all kinds of lacing and sheeting.
Perfumed and fresh fruity sniff.
Delicious take on the style, waves of ripe tropical fruits, mango, melon, pineapple…with some late tea flourishes…yummy…compares favorably with the heavy weights of the style … go get some
