I was looking forward to this as I really like Barleywines. Bit I found this was a little light in the caramel. It did get better once it warmed up. There was a slight sweetness from the malt and the fruit taste became more prevalent as it warmed up. Hope they put this in barrels.

Canned 12/8/20; drank 12/21/20 @ the Yarchives.
Opaque dark brown/orange rust appearance.
A rough pour yielded a big khaki head; strong lace.
Caramel, dry figs & cream notes in the nose.
Creamy, medium thick mouthfeel.
Cream, caramel & fig flavors up front; mild hop bite & faint booze heat notes on the finish.
Nice English Barleywine vibes with a hint of American hops; it's perhaps a bit mild, but overall it's tasty. Can't wait to try the barrel aged version!
