I’m loving this one from HB. It’s a bit more sour than their usual offerings but not overly so. In a citrus way. Wonderful mouth feel and smell as always. More bitter as well then some of their sweeter DIPAs. Alcohol is hidden very well and slightly different at 8.0% vs their usual 7.5%. Worthy of getting again for sure!

Canned 3/2/21; drank 3/5/21 @ the Yarchives.
Opaque orange/yellow appearance.
A rough pour yielded a nice off-white head; frothy lace.
Fresh flowers, mild lemon & faint vanilla notes in the nose.
Soft, medium mouthfeel.
Mango, dry grass & fresh flower flavors; an interesting hop flavor here. I'd have another!

16oz can, dated 03.02.2021, poured into a stemless wine glass.
The beer pours a very hazy and cloudy golden orange color, light amber hues with a foamy white head, about two fingers tall with moderate retention and excellent lacing. The aroma is nice, lots of pine, dank grassiness, lightly floral, soft citrus, white grape and light stone fruits with sweet yeast and pale dough. The flavors are good, lots of juicy citrus, white grape, peach stone fruits, light pineapple and tropical punch, dank grassiness, nice pine, softly floral with pale dough, sweet yeast and mineral water at the finish. The mouthfeel is great, coating and smooth medium body, delicate but with a nice heft and a mildly dry bite.
Verdict: A very nice IPA from Hop Butcher. This might be one of their most balanced IPAs to date and is immensely drinkable. It has a nice juiciness that is more rounded and soft and counterweighted with a great grassy and earthy bitterness.
