Pours a matte, completely opaque drab orange-brown color. Nice three to four finger off-white head forms on the beer before dissipating.
Aroma has notes of strawberry, sweet vanilla beans, guava fruit and some notes of citrus, mint and green hops.
Taste follows the nose with notes of vanilla, strawberry and guava - its fruity and sweet from the fruit additions - with an additional sweetness from vanilla beans. Beyond that there are the hops which provide some orange, citrus, and a somewhat minty, herbal note.
Feel is medium to fuller bodied. Very mild carbonation.
Overall this is not a styleI like, but as examples of the style go, this is pretty good.

Canned 8/3/21; drank 8/16/21 @ the Yarchives.
Opaque dull orange appearance.
A rough pour yielded a nice eggshell head; a thick curtain of lace.
Strawberry, vanilla & faint mint notes in the nose.
Creamy medium mouthfeel.
Strawberry & vanilla flavors; a hint of mint on the finish.
A nice fruited milkshake IPA, but not one that will blow you away.

Dull hazy orange pour. Huge strawberry vanilla nose. Tastes like a strawberry sundae with a delicate bitter, delicious. Medium body, really nice beer.

HB milkshakes can often be ugly to me but it's to be expected given everything in the beer. It's cloudy and almost slushy looking, but not quite that thick looking or feeling. Still the color is not super appetizing, so I guess that should be a reason to mark down the look. The smell is inviting with the usual strong vanilla notes but a more tart berry thing happening. The guava/strawberry comes across as a nice mix rather than something that I can pull apart and identify easily. I'm liking the taste with more guava on the pallet than I'd expect. There's less vanilla than typical but enough that you'll notice it. There's less sweetness here than others which is good. Or maybe it's there but the tart bite on the end is a nice balance. It has a nice thick feel in the mouth too. Overall I'd get this again and recommend it to someone not in need of the usual sugar sweet bomb that most milkshakes come out as. This isn't my favorite HB milkshake, but I love the originality and balance here.

Aroma is strawberry/guava milkshake and very pungent hops. The flavor is strawberry/shortcake, malts, guava, medium vanilla and a sweet/spicy hop finish.
