Chinook, Simcoe & Enigma- hopped India Pale Ale.
Did you know that Michigan Avenue's original name was Pine Street? It wasn't until 1917, in anticipation of a new bridge set to be ready in 1920, that it became known as Michigan Avenue. Pretty sweet, eh? Sounds like something we'd name a piney, hoppy, hazy IPA after.

Poured a murky orange yellow color with a nearly 1" white crown of foam. Looks tasty enough.
The aroma was initially the expected NEIPA aroma of mixed fruits in a citrus bowl, but that was rather fleeting as more bitter overtones took over. More like grapefruit rind than citrus, and a distinct savory note that is difficult to pin down. Lots going on there.
The taste - it seems beers with enigma hops always make me think extra hard about what I am tasting - now it may not be those but any of the others, but it's just something I've noticed when drinking beers with those hops. The citrus is present, but only supporting. Other fruits swirl in an around - pineapple, peach, maybe mango, pears - all inside a piney wrapper that makes one think WC instead of the EC. Curious but quite tasty!
The feel matches the appearance - not specially viscous but more like a very fine particulate is incorporated, almost like drinking a de-pulped juice.
OA, I loved trying this and would happily drink it again, but I would take home a 6 pack.

Pours a hazy golden color with a nice white head. Smell is spice ,grapefruit and pine . Taste is tropical with mango and pine, grapefruit and oranges has a WC Vibe a little to me. Mouth feel is robust but has a softness in the finish nice pine hops not overly bitter, tasty.

Canned 12/1/21; drank 12/5/21 @ the Yarchives.
Opaque dull orange/yellow appearance.
A rough pour yielded a big off-white head; a thick curtain of tree-rung lace.
Peach, dried mango, & soft notes of fresh ganja in the nose.
Soft, medium mouthfeel.
Soft flavors of peach & mango up front; soft wheat and a hint of dry ganja on the finish.
A very pleasant, flavorful brew. Nicely done!!
