Pours a beautiful clear orange color with a sudsy white head that leaves splotches of lacing. Looks fantastic in the glass.
The nose is led by loads of juicy mango and a nice tangerine aroma, which is precisely where the taste lands with a bit of crackery malt for balance. Delicious stuff.
The mouthfeel is medium and very dry, adding to the drinkability. I’d love to see this on the regular at my local.

Very nice drinking pale ale with a good dose of pine, tobacco, ganja and earthiness..some floar notes particilarly on the aroma...not what I'd expect from a Citra hopped beer but I can't find much on this beer so maybe it has some other hops as well...medium bodied...light bitterness...nice aroma and flavor...deeper in some citrus emerges on the taste...light tangerines, a touch of grapefruit..not hazy but a slightly cloudy golden color.
Very enjoyable pale ale.

16oz can dated 8/31/22 poured into a snulip shows a clear, gold body supporting a wispy cap and edge-hugging ring of tiny white bubbles leaving random spotted lacing after sheets of lacing race back down the glass.
Citrus peel aromas dominate and I struggle to differentiate them from the cat piss influence, but unfortunately, for me anyway, cat piss wins. The pee smell evolves into more of a piney flavor, thankfully, and I attribute that to the mango side of Citra hops.
Clean, bright, and full feel with a fresh clean finish is lovely.
Overall, the Butcher is still pushing out good shah.

poured from a 16oz can into a willi becher pint glass. pours a clearer burnt orange to light copper with two fingers of firm white foam. aromas of pine and citrus with a tinge of dank weed and bubblegum. taste follows and while the citrus and orange is there in front it’s backed by piney, resinous flavors that make it less “juicy” or sweet and to me much more drinkable. full mouthfeel with supreme drinkability. they nailed this one. a little more on the dank, piney, west coast side of things but much more crushable and refreshing. perfect for late summer.

16oz can, dated 08.31.2022, poured into a 16oz tumbler glass.
The beer pours a nice copper color, fairly clear with a slight chill haze, orange and golden hues with a foamy finger of white head, good retention and moderate lacing. The aroma is pleasant, lots of grapefruit citrus, quite floral almost to the point of being soapy, mild pine, citrus rind, dough, and mineral water. The flavors are good, sweet floral bouquet yields bright and tangy grapefruit and orange citrus, bitter pine resin, hop spice, earthy grapefruit rind, mineral water and a nice amount of grain. The mouthfeel is good, lively medium body, coating, crisp and vibrant texture with an easy finish that yields a nice dry bite.
Verdict: A very good pale ale from Hop Butcher. Classic American style, very west coast, almost reminiscent of the original Zombie Dust batches from FFF, really pleasant beer.
