poured from a 16oz can into a 2nd shift “you deserve this!” stang glass. pours a hazy, turbid orange with three fingers of soapy white foam. ripe melons, fresh squeezed citrus, blueberries and grass on the nose and taste. slightly bitter. highly juicy. medium-full mouthfeel with a slightly dry and slightly bitter finish. i like this series and this is one of the better ones in it to my tastebuds. really good NE IPA and a nice combo of riwaka and mosaic hops.

16 fl oz. can, canned 9/19/22, my first beer from Hop Butcher. And as far as I'm aware, my first beer brewed with Riwaka hops.
Poured to a Duvel tulip.
A - Huuuge juicy yellow-orange body, absolutely opaque, hazy, finger of frothy white cream, leaves tons of scattered strands of tiny lacing. Looks pretty epic to be honest.
S - Hops are fresh and piney; has a hugely dominant smell of freshly cracked mixed peppercorns, rye, carroway. Herbal & grainy.
T - Taste brings in the same: juicy mango flavored hops, spicy black pepper, and cracked rye. An interesting beer for sure, I would be interesting to know if this was actually brewed with rye malt, or if these flavors I'm tasting are from the Riwaka. I haven't had the other variations of this beer to compare. Juicy notes of guava and tangerine kick in on the finish.
M - Feel is smooth, crisp, light-bodied given the modest abv, and easy drinking.
A nice first beer for me from Hop Butcher, I would be very interested in trying their year round traditional IPA offerings.
Hop Butcher For The World Riwakamania (With Mosaic) -----4/5.
