Pours a very hazy mango color with a fluffy white head that leaves a nice cap on the beer and coats the glass with a veritable blanket of lacing. Gorgeous hazy.
The nose is a little muted, with mango, grapefruit, and orange aromas present, and these notes are amped up a bit on the taste, but the beer doesn’t “pop” as much as expected.
The mouthfeel is medium and soft, on point for the style. I’m glad I purchased this, but Hop Butcher has better options, IMHO.

Canned 1/27/25.
L: Pours a hazy dark orange with a big creamy white head that thins fairly quickly. Pretty lacing.
S: Muted aromas of orange, peach, and apricot.
T: Citrus fruit up front, mostly orange and grapefruit. Some mango in the middle, along with apricot and peach stone fruit. Finishes dry and slightly bitter.
F: Medium mouthfeel and carbonation.
O: A better than average NEDIPA showcasing the surprising versatility of the Citra hop.

Pours a hazy, oxidized-looking dark orange with a finger of creamy, yellowed head that leaves nice rings of lacing.
Really mild nose. Maybe some distant orange juice, ground pepper and Playdoh.
The taste is sweet, but otherwise not too far off the aroma: candied orange, stone fruit (peach, apricot, plum), a touch of pepper, some distant Playdoh. Some light twig-and-leaves bitterness in the finish.
Relatively full bodied with tight carbonation.
Disappointing use of a great new-school hop. Not awful, but there are countless better IPAs than this, including many readily-available ones.

Putting out the thirst for hops, Hop Butcher for the World gives all hop heads what they want- fruity, balancing bitterness, floral and refreshing flavors.
Pouring expectedly cloudy, Double Snorkel Squad hits the glass with a golden tan color while floating a cottony white froth. As a branch-ripe scent of citrus, tropical fruit, stone fruit, candied fruit, soft herb and floral arrangements align on the nose, the underpinnings of sweetness bring elements of cereal, cream, vanilla, shortcake and honey. Turning from floral to fruity, the hoppy taste bridges tangerine, white grapefruit, lime, pineapple, passionfruit, mango, papaya, pawpaw, nectarine, apricot and currant all on route to a bittersweet finish of fruit peels, blasa, peppery grasses, hemp and tea leaf.
Never advised to drink while snorkeling, but as long as this fruit bomb of a beer is waiting on the shore, then this tropical vacation for the tastebuds can happen anywhere.
