Golden yellow to light copper and hazy in complexion. There’s an inch of densely packed off white on top. The aroma is of citrus and melon. I’m tasting tangerine, melon, and cantaloupe. The mouth is very smooth and quaffable.

16oz can. Poured out a slightly cloudy, golden yellow color with a small, khaki-colored head of foam. It left some sudsy residue on the glass. It smelled of orange, melon rind, toffee and caramel. Sweet fruity taste with note of melon and orange. Toasted caramel finish and a sharp bitterness.

16oz can, dated 10.05.2022, poured into a 16oz tumbler glass.
The beer pours a very hazy orange color, honey and light amber hues with a firm finger or so of white head, good retention and excellent lacing. The aroma is nice, very earthy and herbal, lots of citrus rind, dank weed, pine, sap, resin, pale dough, mineral water, citrus juice, mango. The flavors are good, very bitter and very dry. Lots of pine, dank weed, wildflower, grass clippings, orange juice, tons of pale grain, very doughy, mineral water, lingering peach. The mouthfeel is good, coating, very heavy medium body, creamy and smooth with an easy but dry finish.
Verdict: A nice IPA from Hop Butcher. Very bitter and dry, assertive on the earthiness yet there is enough bright fruit and citrus to help make this a fairly refreshing and quaffable beer.
