16oz can, no apparent freshness date
L: tangerine colored body; frothy ivory colored head leaves a network of lacing on the glass as it fades
S: earthy, piney, and citrusy Centennial hops; caramelized grain
T: nutty pale malt, caramel, bread crust, pithy grapefruit, earthy pine
F: medium body, ample carbonation, even though it’s bitter it’s quite nicely balanced with a dry finish
O: a very flavorful Centennial hopped XPA

Clear dark amber with plenty of foam in the Bacchus tumbler. It is hardly "Extra Pale" in appearance or in taste. Interesting aroma of citrus, dank woods, and damp earth. This tastes like an IPA to me on the basis of the overload of hops. It also has an odd "stewed" taste-- not so murky but seems full of cooked vegetable flavors with the overall bitterness taking over. This seems excessive in every way and reminds me of malt extract homebrew. From the 16 oz can purchased on the West Coast. Dated 10/2/2024.

Aroma is big floral Centennial hops and mild sweetness. The flavor is fruit/citrus, mild vegetal, malts and a slight tropical fruit/floral/spicy Centennial hop finish.
