I had this on draft 3/3/23 @ Hop Butcher's brewpub.
Black appearance.
Small tan head; minimal lace.
Oak, chocolate & bourbon heat notes in the nose.
Thick, creamy mouthfeel.
VERY oak and bourbon heat forward on the palate; mild chocolate notes emerged as this warmed.
The base beer was simply overwhelmed by 2 years in the barrel; it never stood a chance.
