Simcoe- hopped India Pale Ale.
Pickle Spear - is an all Simcoe, clear beer pale ale. Everything you love about Alemerica the Beautiful and Grid and Sport Pep, except big timin' Simcoe tossing the javelin all on its own.

16oz can, dated 03.29.23, poured into a 16oz tumbler glass. Enjoyed on 04.08.2023, reviewed from Tasting Journal.
The beer pours a bright copper color, golden hues, medium amber with nice clarity and a fizzy white head that offers good retention and lacing. The aroma is very pine forward, catty, herbaceous, floral, green, dank, pale dough and mineral water. The flavors are nice, very bitter, lots of pine, citrus peel, dank green hop, lightly floral, citrus juice, pale dough and mineral water. The mouthfeel is good, smooth medium body, coating, vibrant and crisp with a super dry finish.
Verdict: A nice Simcoe Pale Ale from Hop Butcher. Really well expressed Simcoe profile, ultra bitter and green with a nice brightness to help keep the beer balanced.

Aroma is sweet citrus/Simcoe hops and a hint of sugar/candy. The flavor is fruit, malts/grains and a long and bitter/classic West Coast/Simcoe hop finish.

Nice balance in this beer. Slight pine with a bit of citrus. Simple and delicious.
