West Coast IPA lovers unite! Mosaic is a familiar hop in many of our beers, but we're excited to get a yet-to-be-named experimental (HBC-586) into the mix as well as use Wakatu again, a hop we haven't used since we brewed Witka many moons ago.

Canned 1/28/25.
L: Pours a slightly hazy dark gold with a short fluffy white head. Visible ascending bubbles. Small spotty patches of lacing.
S: Aromas of Mosaic blueberry.
T: Follows the nose. Lots of Mosaic blueberry up front. A little mango and lemon lime in the middle. Finishes dry but only slightly bitter. Some lingering sweetness.
F: Medium mouthfeel and carbonation.
O: Somewhere between a New England hazy and a west coast IPA. More bitter than a standard NEIPA but sweeter than a west coaster. Not bad, probably would have been better a month ago.

Aroma is complex tropical/Mosaic and a hint of perfumed sweetness. The flavor is complex tropical fruit/mango/papaya, malts and a slightly sweet/spicy Mosaic hop finish.
