16oz can, dated 08.28.2023, poured into a 16oz tumbler glass. Enjoyed on 09.05.2023, reviewed from Tasting Journal.
The beer pours a very hazy and turbid golden lemon color, orange amber hues with a thick and foamy white head that has excellent retention and lacing. The aroma is super green, very earthy and herbal, lots of pine, tangy grapefruit, bright pineapple with sweet and hearty dough. The flavors are good, bitter pine, raw green hop, herbal tea, wildflower, juicy pineapple, lots of orange citrus, pale grain, sweet yeast, and mineral water. The mouthfeel is good, thick, coating, very full heavy body, chewy almost with a smooth and creamy finish that is very dry.
Verdict: A nice IPA from Hop Butcher, a great showcase of the Riwaka hop. Bitter, green yet bright and tropical, nice beer.

Gold to light yellow in color with a very hazy complexion. There an half inch of creamy off white on top. There’s a moderate amount of soapy lacing. The aroma is of vegetal hops to green onions. I’m tasting green veggies and green onions. The mouth is very resinous and moderately carbonated.

Pours a bright yellow, moderate head and heavy lacing. Aroma is generally sweet, some citrus. Nice feel to this, pulp yet silky. The body is stone fruit, mango, a touch of melon. The sharper citrus comes through in the finish; orange and grapefruit. Solid beer
