Pistachio Double Milk Stout brewed with chocolate.
Oh, it's Milkstachio alright - just dialed up a wee bit. Clocking in at 9.0%, expect a little more oomph this year. Pistachio, chocolate, roasty goodness. As always, this one is a collaboration with our friends at DryHop.

Released 12/7/23; drank 12/19/23 @ the Yarchives.
Opaque dark brown appearance.
A violent pour yielded a huge dark tan head; a thick curtain of tree-rung lacing remained.
Cream, milk chocolate and, yes, pistachio notes in the nose.
Medium thick, creamy mouthfeel.
Cream, pistachio, mild chocolate & big booze heat flavors.
Smells good, but honestly, the regular version is better.

16oz can. Poured out an opaque, jet-black color with a small, tan head of foam. It left sudsy patches of lace on the glass. It smelled nutty with chocolate, toffee and caramel. Strong nutty flavor with chocolate, toffee and toasted caramel.

Aroma is extremely faint. Slight, nutty maltiness, some milky vanilla sweetness. The body is very roasty and nutty, with a swiftly following flavor of roasted pistachio and sweet, milky cream. A lingering taste of nut and cream persists. Pretty simple beer but not bad and very serviceable for a stout.
