I’ll gladly write the first review for this. Bought three cans for myself, one for my brother. The can will stay in my collection. It’s been a while since I’ve added one, but this guy was the greatest tv weatherman ever and a truly wonderful man. This is a worthy tribute to him.
To the beer! Extremely cloudy, pale orange, frothy head with minimal lacing. Hop Butcher makes what I call Chicago Style IPAs: it has both the cloudy and juicy citrus of an NEIPA and the dank pine of a WCIPA. This one fades a little the further you go along with taste. Light bodied, subtle booze, mouth watering finish.
Is it as great as Tom Skilling himself? No, it would have to be the second coming of their Double Grid to be that. But it is still pretty damn good.
