Canned 3/31/26 (I think, smudged date). Good, well balanced 2x NE ipa with nice mouthfeel; thickish haze; lower-to-medium hoppiness; an understated citrusy/fruity/juicy flavor and a clean, quick-fading backend. Very dangerously quaffable.

Taking the taste to the ballpark has never been so hoppy. The beer named after the popular baseball food gives Hop Butcher a chance to brighten the palate with Nelson Sauvin and Simcoe hops.
Pouring a pale and hazy golden hue, All Beef Frank steps up to the plate with a frothy white cap and a fruity, floral, sprucy scent and a hint of earthy greens. Dryly sweet, the early impressions of malt give vanilla wafer, honeysuckle and cereal ahead of a brisk bitterness of grapefruit, orange peel, pine resins and a grassy finish.
Not exactly hitting it out of the park, this hazy IPA is juicy but not quite fully hazy, giving a brisk and drier finish than usual for the haze.

Canned 3/30/26 (5 weeks ago)
Appearance: Pours a completely hazy, yellow-golden color with a strong white head. SRM of 6. (4.25)
Aroma: Aromas of grapefruit, white grape, earthy stonefruit, tangerine. (3.75)
Flavor: Flavors follow with orange, tropical grape, berries, some earthy stonefruit. Mildly sweet. (4.00)
Feel: Medium body appropriate carbonation. Creamy and smooth. Minimal alcohol detection. (4.00)
Compared to RaR Thunderstorms Inside 5/26: Pours darker. Milder aromas. More tangerine, stonefruit. Less passionfruit, pineapple, lime. Cleaner.
Overall: Hop Butcher All Beef Frank. Simcoe and Nelson. Not a combo I've seen before. Some berry and grape notes from Nelson but tangerine and stonefruit from the Simcoe to keep it resinous and earthy. It's beefy and a no frills frank. (Rating: 3.96)

16oz can. Poured out a cloudy, golden orange color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left sudsy lacing on the glass. It smelled of orange, grapefruit, guava and caramel. Sweet fruity taste with toasted caramel and a sharp, piney bitterness. No hot dog taste.

Pours an opaque light orange, 0.5" with light retention and very good lacing. Nose is tropical juice, concentrated diner orange juice, menthol and pine notes as it warms. Not a total juice bomb. Taste is lightly sweet (tropical, cheap OJ); sweet white wine; some light pine and cannabis elements that rescue it from being too flat and one note. Feel is soft with barely noticeable carbonation; a little slick as well. Not my cup of tea, but others will likely enjoy.

Pros: nice look: golden color with a 4F head. Warmed up- citrus, and very hoppy.
Cons: slight dank aroma and taste. No can date. The typical Nelson flavors aren’t present.
Overall: Good, best at 50°+. I was looking for more: heavier citrus and the winey sauvignon blanc character of Nelson.

poured from a 16oz can into a P3 pixel density nordic pint glass. pours a hazy light orange with almost three fingers of bright white foam head. grapefruit, citrus, blueberries and grass in the nose and taste. taste is little more pungent with grapefruit and white wine. full mouthfeel. i’m a sucker for nelson hops so no surprise i’m digging this. i’ve liked this entire series from hop butcher.
