Somewhere between a NEIPA and AIPA and pretty good!!! Poured from a 16 oz can into a pint glass, this beer features a somewhat hazy dull gold color and a smallish foamy white head with better than average retention. there is lacing, mostly the filmy type on the glass. Aroma and flavor are mostly orange and tropical fruits. Backing them up is a dry, biscuity maltiness so this one doesn't come off as a juice bomb. The bitterness level is pretty good, making this beer lean more to the AIPA side. Mouthfeel is crisp, dry and moderately bitter. Overall, pretty good!!!

Riwaka & hbc-1019 hopped. 1019 is new to me.
This pours the color of an agua de melon, with a thin haze and a light cantaloupe colored body.
I get a delicate tangerine note, at first on the nose and then again on the sip. Low carbonation, little bitterness, sweet finish. This is a good one.

Very cloudy orange/tan hues, minimal head and lacing. Strong bitter, piney, malty, citrusy, and tangy scents and taste. Might be stronger on the nose than the tongue. Slightly mouth watering finish, boozy back burn. Interesting profile, but nothing outstanding,

Can date of 8-8-24. Pours a slightly hazy pale yellow color, with a 2-finger white, watery head. Aroma has a nice orange note, some tropical fruit, papaya to my nose. Flavor basically tastes like a screwdriver, without the vodka burn. Pretty orange forward, some grapefruit and mango. Mouthfeel is not quite creamy like a hazy, but still a tad bit fuller than a typical west coast IPA. Finish is sweet-ish yet relatively bitter. Leaves a nice tropical fruit flavor on the palate with some bitterness on the back of the tongue. I have not tried any of the other Riwakamania renditions, but I will say that this version is quite tasty. I will have no problem finishing the 4-pack.
