Canned 2/10/25; drank 2/18/25 @ the Yarchives.
Opaque, murky dark brown / orange appearance.
A rough pour yielded a small, noisy tan head which quickly dissipated; no lacing remained.
Tobacco, wood, bourbon heat & mild caramel notes in the nose.
Thick, sticky mouthfeel.
Sticky caramel & dry wood flavors up front; leather & harsh bourbon heat notes on the finish.
This smelled better than it tasted & was too syrup-y on the mouthfeel, but I THINK Hop Butcher may be headed in the right direction. Less is more, fellas.
