Hop Butcher For The World

I got a tall boy can of this beer from my good friend and old neighbor from the 'Wego. It poured a hazy golden with thin white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had floral citrus aroma. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright semi sweet malt base with fresh citrus fruit presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

Slightly cloudy, orangish/yellow in color with a white head. Nose for me was lemony and pine and slightly citrus. Taste was like nose, more on the pine to me, however it was fairly dry. Not too much bitterness, but decent amount.

 

 

 

Absolutely delicious! Was not expecting it to be on the clearer side (not completely clear but a gentle haze). All four hops shine through. Up front I get orange and lemon citrus along with a subtle earthiness. It's almost a Nelson earthy vibe - maybe the Nectaron is giving that. Back half the Mosaic shines with tons of berry character. Can has a tasting note of 'blue cotton candy' and I actually get that to some extent. There's a raspberry character I get from the Mosaic that presents itself as candied. Really good medium+ body for 7.25%.
