Inspired by a beer of yore called "The Last of Summer," this delicious beast is a brand-spankin-new Simcoe & Tangier-hopped Double IPA that we brewed with Wildflower honey.

I got a tall boy can of this beer from my good friend and old neighbor from the 'Wego. It poured a hazy golden with thin white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had floral citrus aroma. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright semi sweet malt base with fresh citrus fruit presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

Almost totally opaque, good lacing, nose is mostly dark and over ripe fruit. Taste is fairly bitter, smooth mouth feel. I do t like the heavy dank flavor, but definitely a good beer.

Aroma is citrus/fruit, slightly effervescent yeast and a hint of honey. The flavor is citrus/fruit, malts, a hint of honey sweetness in the middle and a classic/bitter WC hop finish.
