Copenhagen 3/1 2026. 47,3 cl can from Kihoskh, Sønder Boulevard, Kbh. V. Quite strange can design with a red can with a drawing of what looks like a sandwich made of crackers and sweet stuff with arms and legs.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small beige head. A bit bubbly, Disappears leaving a dark and somber fluid behind. No lacing.
Aroma is intense With a sweet, sugary odor mingling with sweet spice and dark alcohol. Brown sugar in abundance, vanilla and a whiff of cinnamon. Caramel and toffee. Chocolate cake, Bourbon.
Low carbonation Thick, oily, viscous soft, a bit creamy, gently tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong and a bit heavy sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a boozy undertone. Lingering. Finish is sweet with an alcohol burn.
Potent Imperial Stout with a healthy dose of sweet spice.
