Canned 8/27/25
Not a pretty beer, pours super hazed, effervescent & pulpy gold with a pinky+ of tight cream-colored head. Pretty good head retention lacing, but an ugly presentation
S: Grassy, white grape skins, some weird metallic smell sneaks in once warm, a pity
T: Follows the nose, tangerine, green melon, grassy notes, guava & lime zest up front, plus dryness up front. Passion fruit, pineapple, a little nectarine, lime & green melon once warmed up. Finishes with pineapple whip, dryness, passion fruit & guava
MF: Medium body, creamy carbonation, acidity late
Great flavors, age has affected the nose for sure, but super drinkability. Will try this again fresher if given if given
the chance

As I’ve come to expect with Hop Butcher IPAs, this was sublime — juicy and citrusy with a nice hazy character, and really nice looking. The aroma and taste are just so satisfying, and although this is a DIPA I didn’t feel pounded by hoppiness, just a little nudge toward the end. It is a rare example of a 16 oz beer that I wish would have been 24 oz or more!

Aroma is citrus/fruit and huge earthy. The flavor is malts/grains, mild tropical fruit/pineapple and a sweet, spicy/nutty hop/creeping alcoholic bite finish.

8/27/2025. Poured into a Samuel Adams Perfect Pint.
A: Luminous hazy yellow with 2-finger frothy white head with good retention and copious craggy lacing.
S: Strange somewhat mild aroma with peach pit, earthy dank herbal weed note, lighter pineapple and orange.
T: Flavor more standard hazy ipa with soft peach, mango, apricot, pineapple, orange, and lemon with bitter pith citrus and dank finish. Bitterness at least moderate intensity.
M: Soft medium body with high carbonation and light dry finish.
O: Gyro! Gyro! Gyro! is a solid hazy IPA with hop character that is strong intensity and bitter but muddled. Worth a try but not above and beyond by any means
