A big dog (or cow, if you will) at 8.0% and a fun mash-up of Beef Dipped and Neon Green Relish. Hand selected hop trio of Citra, Sabro and Simcoe, yo.

A very unusual flavor profile in, what looks like, a standard Hazy IPA body. Poured from a 16 oz can into a pint glass, this beer featured a hazy dull, gold color and a medium sized foamy white head with somewhat better than average retention. Lots of tin, foamy bands of lacing on the glass. The ingredients included "beef dipped and neon green relish" in addition t the Citra, Sabro, and Simcoe hops. The result was an elusive herbal and minty flavor along with the more traditional flavors from the hop selection. This beer is quite aromatic due to the Sabro and Simcoe hops and a touch of coconut from the Sabro hops here as well. Unusual but quite tasty!!!! The best part of this beer is that there is a good deal of bitterness here as well. The bitterness balances the unusual flavors and keeps the beer in the IPA category, not some gimmicky concoction. Aside from the bitterness, the mouthfeel is crisp and not overly harsh. goes down easy.

PKG: 1/20/26. Poured into a Samuel Adams Perfect Pint.
A: Opaque pulpy juice gold with short cap of white without much retention or lacing.
S: Aroma is mostly pineapple, melon, and lighter coconut with more herbal honeysuckle semi-mint notes.
T: Flavor is more melon-heavy than the aroma also with green grape, pineapple, coconut, lime leaf, and herbal light lemongrass. Esters are low. Alcohol is not evident. Bitterness is low.
M: Feel is creamy and full with low carbonation and full finish.
O: HB Neon Green Beef is a good but not very distinguishable hazy DIPA.

Pulling elements from Green Relish and Dipped Beef, slathered with Citra, Sabro and Simcoe hops, Hop Butcher's... imperial hazy ale has it all! (no cattle were actually harmed in the making of this beer. ...I don't think so.)
Neon Green Beef kicks off with a rather cloudy goldenrod and taupe blend before floating a creamy eggshell white froth and a juicy scent of citrus, tropical fruit, orchard and stone fruit with bold herbal drifts. Pastry maltiness of cookie dough, cereal and honeysuckle bring a creamy sweetness to the early palate before the brightness of hops arrive.Tangerine, red grapefruit, pineapple, mango and passionfruit all align in a fruit cocktail of flavor with secondary flavors of peach, apricot and green berry. Finishing with an smooth herbal bite, a bitterness of verbena, fresh spruce, sassafras, tea leaf and peppery resins all work to dry the beer and bring it into the IPA world of taste.
Full bodied, creamy and smoothly bitter, this mash-up of beer brands and hops give all hop lovers exactly what they want- a bittersweet, malty dry session of drippy hoppiness.
