A nice, if not traditional AIPA. Interesting mix of hops: Nelson Sauvin, CTZ and Nectaron. Poured from a 16 oz can into a pint glass, this beer features a clear gold color and a bubbly/ foamy white head with better than average retention and good lacing. Nice and bitter but the flavors are not the standard pine and/or grapefruit. Aroma and flavors include lots of tropical fruit (more mango and passionfruit type flavors not pineapple), some dankness/earthiness and a touch of white wine grapes. A little different but quite tasty. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, crisp with decent bitterness. I enjoyed this one!!!

Canned 2/25/2026
Appearance: Pours a completely clear, yellow/golden color with a strong white head that lingers. SRM of 6. (4.00)
Aroma: Aromas of orange, tangerine, tea, earthy berries, stonefruit, and hint of blue spruce. (4.00)
Flavor: Flavors follow with orange, tropical berries, stonefruit, earthy, and some pine. (4.00)
Feel: Medium body, appropriate carbonation. Finish is clean, mild-moderately bitter. (4.25)
Overall: WCIPA from Hop Butcher. Nectaron and Nelson make a nice combo with some more new school stonefruit from Nectaron and grape/berries from Nelson, all while having that classic clean malt and bitter pine you want in a west-coast IPA. . The drinkability here in superb. It's not quite your traditional WCIPA, but I can get behind these flavors and the evolution of a WCIPA

Aroma is tropical/white grapes/Nelson Sauvin/very dank hops. The flavor is citrus/fruit, malts and a mildly sweet/very slightly nutty/tropical/Nelson Sauvin hops finish.
