After 21 months in red wine barrels, this funky pale was refermented on redcurrants. This beer is one of three fruit expressions that share the same base beer.

Best paired with a meditation on the travails of the farm workers that hand harvest these delicate fruits.

Made with time and love at Cloudwater.

Pours a hazy orange with low, fine head.

Smell is tart with notes of currants, rowanberries, rowanberry jelly, lime, funk, red wine, oak and some vanilla.

Taste is tart, dry and vinous. Notes of currants, oak, rowanberries, funk, brett and red wine. A bit of warmth brings notes of grapes and armagnac. Complex and deep, with a lot going on.

Mouthfeel is medium, dry and avinous with good carbonation.

Overall, an excellent, complex sour.
